The bed was so old it had coil springs in so every time we turned over the springs would ping and hit you. It was lovely to be able to see some of the evening air displays from the hotel lounge and this seemed to go down well with a lot of the guests.Overall this is a decent hotel, there are no major problems but it would benefit from a revamp. The member of staff even saw me out onto the road to make sure we got out OK.The breakfasts were excellent and myself and my colleague had a meal in the lounge one evening too which was also very tasty and reasonably priced.My room was a little noisy in the evening, as the floorboards are creaky and I could hear the people above me.
